Todays Flag

is the IMO code flag Quebec, that when flown over a ship, indicates a request for Free Pratique from port Authorities.  Historically, it was used to indicate ships carrying cholera or yellow fever infections.  Once the ship is declared free of disease, the national flag of the port is raised indicating that it is now permitted to carry on its business.  In this case, we have used the Quarantine flag to indicate observation of isolation due to Covid protocols, raising the Canadian flag once it was over.
